Kayak Striper Fishing on the Chattahoochee River – Catch N Release. This is the smallest of 4 striper caught on the day. These little schoolies hit hard and fight hard. The past few days have been rain outs. The water clarity on the Hooch is 0 to mud. And it probably will be for the next few days. But… the schoolie striper are there at Morgan Falls. In schools. Most at this time are small fish (2-8lbs). They’re on and off, and move around from one side of the river to the other, but once you find’em it’s game on. Don’t eat these fish. Just catch n release… and enjoy the hot fishery at Morgan Falls. There are also plenty of striper to be caught downstream of Morgan Falls Dam on the Chattahoochee River.
